Privacy policy

The short version: nothing leaves your device. Considered. has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and makes no network requests. Everything it knows lives in your browser's local storage, on your computer.

What Considered. stores, locally

When you pause a purchase, the extension saves what it saw on the page so you can decide later:

• The item or cart you paused: its title, price, line-item names, and an optional small image
• The page address, so you can return to buy it
• Your decisions and streak history
• Your settings: decision time, friction level, and per-site preferences

All of this is kept in the browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device. It is never uploaded, synced, or shared, with anyone, ever.

What Considered. never does

• It never sees, touches, or stores payment details, card numbers, or credentials
• It never sends your browsing or shopping activity anywhere
• It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no third-party services
• It never sells or transfers any data, because it never collects any

Your data stays in your hands

You can clear everything Considered. has stored at any time from the extension's settings. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of its stored data with it.

Changes to this policy

If Considered. ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated first, and the effective date above will change. As of this version, there is nothing to disclose beyond what you have just read.
